Cresswell was rather quiet again so I went up to Druridge Pools , plenty of damselflies around ,but not much on the screen pools , Wood sandpiper from the hide, Small Copper , Orange Tip, & Wall Butterflies, first Dragonfly briefly probably Common Darter, through the dunes along to east Chevington water level dropping and a number of Terns at the South end , but the view from the hide is blocked with a fence screen at either side you have to view from back up the track ?, Hauxley in the late afternoon the Ponteland hide was also very quiet..............................
