06-07-07 Roundup of the week

ust a round up of the week its been rather quite its now the time I turn to flowers and insects but with the poor weather , heavy rain not making photography easy or just dull in between so I have had short runs out which got me Banded Demoiselle and Grayling but went for the Spoonbill and Little Egret (Egret not there) at Hauxley then moved to East Chevington ,a few Burnets out and a Cinnabar not much else at Hauxley a Common Sandpiper dropped in briefly, Ringlets and Meadow Brown along the path to the hides also Small Heath and Red admiral ,with Blue & Blue Tailed Damselflies on the small pool.
A huge flock of Common Scoter , and still lots of Puffins etc off the coast of Chevington with a single Manx passing very close inshore a couple of Juvenile Terns at the outflow Arctic Terns I thought at the time, Reed Warblers ,Sedge . Reed Buntings & Stonechats at the bridge then back to one of the hides with Large Skipper and three singing Grasshopper Warblers 5-6 Little Gulls, Scaup, no waders that I could see but the water level is high , a Whimbrel flew over a couple more shots of the Spoonbill.
Golden Plover at St Mary’s today Red Throated Diver, and single Manx also a Camel, Llama , and Zebra not sure what else there was as it started to pour another early end to the day.
